Spotify Integration on Samsung Tizen TV App

Hello Team,

So, I'm developing Samsung Tizen TV App using ThreeJS and I want to know if I can integrate Spotify into my app. I'm thinking to have specific area for Spotify inside my app. The purpose is so that user can change my app background music as they want via Spotify.

Based on the https://developer.spotify.com/, I guess it is probably possible when using Web Playback SDK or Embed. However as far as I read the documentation, it doesn't specifically mention about Tizen TV OS support.

I'm wondering, is that possible?

Or probably there is another approach for this?

Meanwhile I'm still checking Web Playback SDK and Embed. I will probably update my finding later.

Hello Team,

This is update from my side:

• I tried to integrate Web Playback SDK into my app but it cannot connect to Spotify (my app is packed and run as Tizen TV app (.wgt)). However, when I host my app and access it from another computer via web browser, it can connect to Spotify. It only works when hosted in HTTPS though.
• The same issue also happen when using Embed iFrame API, packed as Tizen TV app cannot connect, but when accessing via web browser it can connect.
• I cannot find any log errors or exceptions related to Web Playback SDK or Embed when running my app as Tizen TV app.
• I need to download the JavaScript file of  Web Playback SDK or Embed, because apparently having HTTP URL JavaScript file in the code always make the app open external browser (when pack and run it into Tizen TV app (.wgt)).

Could you give me insight or hint to debug it on Tizen TV app?
Why when packed into Tizen TV app, Spotify won't connect?

I will probably give update again if I have a new finding.
