My Question or Issue

Hi Spotify Developer Team, I’m developing an app that uses the Spotify Web API, specifically the /v1/audio-features endpoint. I’m consistently receiving a 403 Forbidden error when trying to fetch audio features for tracks, even when:

• Using a valid access token with all required scopes (user-read-private, user-read-email, playlist-read-private, user-library-read, etc.).

• The token is freshly generated and works for other endpoints (e.g., /me, /playlists, /tracks).

• The tracks are from official/public Spotify playlists (not local files).

• I am able to stream/listen to these tracks in the Spotify app/web player.

Last year, Spotify deprecated several endpoints, including Audio Features. Apps that were approved prior to November 27 2024 were allowed to continue using it, but anything created or approved after is blocked. You can read more here.
