My Question or Issue

Hello, I'm interested in playing 30 second previews in my app from Spotify. I can use preview links just fine but am wondering if this is the right way to go copyright wise. They app may have some monetization in the future.

Thanks for reaching out in the Spotify Community!

I’ve taken a look through the Spotify Developer Policy and Terms, and here’s what I found:

• You’re allowed to use preview clips in a commercial SDA.

• Preview clips can only be provided in markets where the full track is available.

• A link back to the full track must always be included.

• Preview clips can’t be offered as a standalone service.
