My Question or Issue

I have applied for the commercialization of my app. I did it first time December 2019 and since I didn't hear anything, Hubo suggested I re-applied. I did that February 12th, 2021. Still no response.

Have I done anything wrong, have you not seen my message or gotten to it or have I received a no?

I asked SpotifyCares on Twitter and XJ asked me to write here.

God. How miserable it is 😞 I am starting to think that investing in apps built on Spotify API is too risky to consider it viable.

I received an answer from Spotify one week ago. They responded:

Thank you so much for your interest in integrating your application with the Spotify Platform. At the moment, Spotify is only able to support a small handful of commercial partnerships, which are selected for their scale, compliance to our Developer Terms of Service, and alignment with the needs of Spotify's users and artists. At the moment, your application is not a strong fit for a conversation with our partnership team, but we truly appreciate your time and application.

I guess that rule out most of the people requesting commercialization. Sadly.
