Web Playback SDK incompatibility with React 18

The Web Playback SDK appears incompatible with React 18 as discussed here: link. Can this be documented for developer awareness? It's not fun to spend hours getting a player set up to realize you can't use it. Additionally, is there any roadmap for React 18 support or a workaround?

One workaround I thought of is to use the Web API to control playing, pausing, etc

Currently it is not supported to work via their examples, yes. I still believe Spotify should work to fix this, however there is a workaround. I posted an answer on StackOverflow here, you can check it out.
