Webhook Support Needed: Reduce API Calls for Listening History and similar webAPI

My Question or Issue

I've been working with the Spotify Web API to retrieve my listening history, but I've encountered a scalability concern. Currently, the only way to keep my data synchronized in real-time is by implementing a polling mechanism that periodically refetches the data. This approach results in excessive API calls and doesn't scale well.

If Spotify introduced webhook support, the server could push notifications to my application whenever my listening history changes, eliminating the need for constant polling. This event-driven approach would significantly reduce API calls and improve efficiency.

I'd appreciate your thoughts on this feature request, and I'm happy to contribute to its implementation.
