Whether my app is violating some of Spotify Developer Rules or not?

Whether my app is violating some of Spotify Developer Rules or not?

I have an idea for an app, which helps you know what your friends are listening to on Spotify right now.

At the moment, I prepared all designs for my app and tested Spotify SDK. For further development, I want to hire a developer, but I want to be sure that my app does not violate any Spotify Developer Rules.

My app is quite simple and consists of only a few features. New users download the app, sign in with Spotify, import contacts to invite their friends, and on the app home page they can find out what their friends are listening to on Spotify right now. Users can click on the tracks, then Spotify will be opened with their friends’ songs. (I can share a Figma prototype privately)

I’ve already read Spotify Developer Terms, Spotify Developer Policy, Data Protection Appendix, and Branding Guidelines, and as far as I know, my app does not violate any of your policies.

So, after reviewing my designs and app description, can you tell me whether my app is violating some of Spotify Developer Rules or not?

You already read the terms, so if you didn't came across something that is disallowed in your app, you don't violate any rules.

Also, looking at wat you described, I don't see any reason for Spotify to reject your request.
