Will the sleep timer ever be brought back?

As of today 09.28.2024 the sleep timer is missing not only from Android but also the web browser and IOS. There have been suggestions about uninstalling and reinstalling the app which I have done but the timer is still missing. It was an amazing and helpful feature when it was available. I know that I am not the only one that misses it. So can we please have it back?

Thanks for posting and welcome to the Spotify community.

I agree with you that the sleep timer is a great feature and actually will like you to know it is available in the app. To find it, you need to select a playlist and then go to the Now playing view. There, you'll find a three-dot menu at the top right of your screen and once you open it, you'll find the sleep timer. Select it and you'll find the options to set your timer:

Keep in mind that this feature is available just in Android and iOS devices.

If you can't find the sleep timer, I suggest you log out and log in twice in a row onto your Spotify account. This way the system will force a resync of your account in general.

If the above doesn't do the trick, would you mind sharing a screenshot, the make/model and OS of the affected device along with the Spotify version you're running there?

It looks like with the update I got yesterday the timer is back! I'm so happy for that. Great job
