I got the offer to subscribe for an one year plan for a fixed fee, however, if I choose to accept the offer, I can't sign up for it. It is still valid and does not expire till 12/31/2017, I also fulfill all requirements.

Came here for this exact problem. It won't accept my payment information (I double-checked to make sure I had the funds). I am already subscribed for premium on a monthly basis...maybe something is conflicting and messing things up?

I have the same problem - received an email from Spotify today (this was the sending address: hello@spotify.com) inviting me to pay £99.99 for a full years subscription, but if I look at my Spotify Account or Subscription pages, there is no option to change from "Monthly Premium" to "Annual Premium".

 

Is this an email scam?

 

Same problem with me. Spotify---please put the yearly option under the "subscriptions" tab in "my account". We shouldn't need to upgrade via an email link and retype our cc # which you already use to bill monthly. And when re-entering that cc # it doesn't work. Make this easy!!

Subscribed to the 1 year discount, got the bill into my account, but still have the next month 9.9€ in subscription tab.

Will it be cancelled automatically ?

Same here, extremely negative user experience. Wonder how many sign-ups for this they miss out on due to the crappy landing page.

Don't think its a scam - my iphone app opened with this as a cover page. I didn't go ahead with it then, but now that I've tried to log in and do somethng about it, lo and behold, no apparent way to do it.

I go the offer too.I'm wondering about two things.

1) Did the user that accepted this offer but still saw the next monthly payment scheduled get his problem solved?

2) Does anybody have an opinion about the T&C which says that after that one year, your subcription will be reset to the then applying subscriptions and T&C? I'm wondering if there might be a price raise in the meantime and I'll be forced to pay a higher price than €9,99/month after the year.
