Changing subscriptions

I have premium and paid for a year of service upfront. This subscription is due again in October for the following year. However, want to upgrade to family now. Will I just pay the difference and how will I know this will happen?

To sign up for Premium for Family, just log in here and enter your payment info. Keep in mind that it's not possible to pay for a year of Premium for Family.

After signing up, you can confirm that you're on the plan by logging in here. Once you've successfully signed up, you can follow these steps to start inviting your family members.
