I signed up for a premium plan, but it went to my wife's account.

I signed up for a premium plan, but it went to my wife's account.

my wife and I each have Spotify on our phones . I signed up for premium to use on my phone , it went to wife's phone (account) . we both use the same e-mail . is this the problem?

Thanks for reaching out.

 

Each email address can only be associated with one Spotify account, so you can't have multiple accounts associated with one email address. 🙂

 

All members of a Premium Duo/Family plan must have their own account. If you don't have one yet, you can sign up at https://spotify.com/signup.

 

Once you've created the account, you can invite it to the plan by following the steps listed at https://support.spotify.com/article/invite-remove-duo-member/.
