Payment can't process while abroad

I live in the US and am currently abroad in Germany. I received an email saying there was trouble collecting my Spotify Premium payment.
I am trying to pay with my US credit card while in Germany.
My current US credit card (on file) works and has plenty of credit left, but for some reason the payment fails. The same for my other US credit card.

There might be some temporary difficulties on the payment provider's side, so it's best to wait 24 hours before you try again. If the payment still fails, we'd suggest reaching out to the card issuer to check if everything is okay on their end.
