Payment in Thailand

Hi,

I live in Thailand and have for 18 years, but all my credit/debit cards/Paypal are US based. I have tried to pay for a Thailand based 1 year subscription but my Paypal is being rejected and I am being told to subscribe in the US, but again I don't live in the US, I live here in Thailand. 

What is the solution?

The only solution is to use a payment method from Thailand, you cnnot use foreign payment methods on any Spotify account. There is no way around it.

Thanks for the amazingly prompt reply. Will the "gift cards" be available here in Thailand? If so, any idea when or where they will be sold?

Why wouldn't you just pay the fee in the USA ? There is more content available. Your account country must match your account payment meathod. Easy fix. Change the country of your Spotify account to USA. Then I put your USA credit card details amd address. Now you can use Spotify premium in Thailand with a USA Spotify account. No 2 week viewing limit because you are premiunum. You think the Thailamd spotify is cheaper and it's true but the content is reduced dramrically.

A year's subscription in Thailand is less than 50 USD. Have many friends who have subscribed. Doesn't really seem to be reduced content. Everything seems to be there. We've looked for some fairly obscure titles. 
Truth be told I never considered subscribing until I saw the price in Thailand.

My account was Canadian and after changing it to Thailand, many songs in my play lists disappeared. I contacted spotify and was told these songs were not available in thailand. Up to you if you don't believe me but you are wrong!

Interesting. Don't doubt you at all. I'm an alt-country/americana listener. Maybe my genre is less effected.
