Payment says failed, but bank statements shows done

Payment says failed, but bank statements shows done

Are currently not allowed to access premium features, because it says payment failed. But the card shows that the payment have been done.

Spotify billing history shows that payments last months has been on the 9th, but bank statements shows the 20th. 

How can this be resolved?

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

 

This type of situation is commonly related to delayed payments. If your billing date is on the 9th, but the payment failed for any reason, the system will try to take it again in the upcoming days, so it's possible that the payment failed multiple times and it was taken on the 20th as you mentioned. The recipe on your Spotify account page however keeps the date of the first attempt to reflect that the payment made was from that original date.

 

To confirm this, you can check your bank movements since the 9th of September to confirm that it's the only Spotify charge made this month.

 

If you can't access your movements or if you have more than one payment successfully made in September, we'd recommend contacting our internal support so they can check your account and assist you further as we don't have access to users' accounts from the Community.
