Pre paid card won't work

I bought a pre paid card a few months ago and literally took hours to put it onto my Spotify account. Months went by and it expired so I bought a new card and have had the same difficulty. I ended up deleting my Spotify account (losing all my playlists) to set up a new account to make the pre paid card easier. New account, same difficulties.

i enter the card on spotify.com/redeem yet am told the card is not valid in my country..... yet I bought the card and have my subscription all in the same country.

i am going crazy trying to work this out!!!

please help!
