I paid premium on 11th october and it was available. Dince today, only spotify free is available. The transaction however was successful and my credit card shows the transaction.

Welcome to the forums!
It sound's as though you may have two account's one free and the other premium. Can you take a look at the following:
The first one is your subscription page, and I'm interested to know what it says about your subscription (Free or Premium): https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/
The other link to check is your receipts panel. here: https://www.spotify.com/account/subscription/receipt/
Can you check the above and get back to me?

I am having the exact same problem. In my receipts page it shows that it was fully paid, and my credit card was charged according to my statement. However, my premium subscription is also not working.

I have notified Spotify Staff about your particular issue, and they have suggested that you get in touch with them via one of the ways below in order for them to take a closer look at your account, to check you payments and in case you get any error messages while trying to process the payment on your account:

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address.

I twittered with spotifycare and they confirmed there was a problem with the subscription.
I should get a refund soon....
