Used $60 Spotify gift card but bank was still chaged this month

Used $60 Spotify gift card but bank was still chaged this month

I added a $60 gift card for premium that expires 1/18 but my bank card was chaged a monthly $10 fee this month.  Shouldn't it not be charged until 1/18?

Thanks for getting in touch with us, we'll gladly help you get to the bottom of this.

 

If you used a gift card on your account and you were still charged for Spotify Premium on your usual renewal date, you might have another account causing this issue.

 

Let's try following this troubleshooting to make sure you only have one Spotify account set up with your information.

 

If you've set up multiple accounts and redeemed the card by mistake on the wrong one, or if you only have one account but seems like the gift card didn't apply, it'd best to contact our Support team.

 

You can pop a message over via Facebook or Twitter. They'll take a closer look at your account to help you figure this out.
