Why isn’t Spotify not accepting my debit card as payment?

I’ve been trying to renew my subscription but it didn’t renew it. I had to cancel my subscription but now it won’t accept my debit card and says to choice a different payment method

I’ve already looked at the “support article” and it still didn’t help, I’ve already gave up on the Spotify premium so thx for trying

Thanks for your reply. I'm sorry to hear the steps in the article didn't do the trick. Can you let me know if you're able to make other online purchases with this payment method? It might be worth contacting your payment method provider to make sure everything's alright on their end.

On another note, if you have a different payment option available, can you try this process using it and see if it works with it? Here is the link.
