My Question or Issue

The context: I have a playlist made up of albums. Sometimes I want to move albums around, so I drag and drop the songs to where I want them in the playlist (keeping them together as an album).

The issue: About a month ago, I noticed that when I would drag and drop songs in my playlist, one or more would be left behind (e.g. I'd drag an album of twelve songs from the top to the bottom of my playlist, but one or two of the 10 would stay at the top). This is continuing to happen. I've also noticed in the past week or so that songs are appearing at weird places in my playlist (e.g. separate from the rest of the songs in the album). I can't tell if they're moving on their own or if it's the drag-and-drop issue and I'm just not noticing them until later.

Anyone else having a similar issue? Any ideas how to fix it?

Hey @FaIsMe,

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Let us know if this issue persists once you've performed a clean reinstall on the affected device. We recommend this step since it'll get you the latest app version with all necessary updates and remove any corrupted files from previous installations. Note that we recommend installing the app version from the Microsoft Store , as it's the one best optimized for Windows 10.

Keep us posted! We'll be happy to lend a hand if you need more help.
