My Question or Issue

cant access the go to song radio or artist radio from 3 dots. I found some artists/songs have their artist radio listed under their page as “featured in..” but some artists don’t have this feature and to get to a song radio you have to open up the song page (not album page) which requires searching. This is very difficult to do for songs that are titled in Japanese or Korean etc…

not sure if this is some sort of new feature; if it is please bring back access to the song/artist radio to the 3 dots,

if it’s just a me thing can someone let me know how to solve this?

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling & clearing cache.

not sure how long it’s been this way as I haven’t been looking for new songs lately as I was busy bingeing my fave playlist.

Hi @user-removed,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

To start, we'd like to explain to you a little more about the features you mention, since they are not the same. The "Go to song/artist radio" is something different from the "Featured in" lists you find in an artist profile.

When you open a song/artist radio, you'll get an auto generated playlist with similar music. Now, the "Featured in" is a collection of playlists curated by Spotify in which the artist is included, in addition to those playlists, you can also find some artist's radio.

However, the "Go to song/artist radio" feature that you find in the 3 dot menu is available on the mobile app only for Premium subscriptions. This may be the reason you're not able to find it. You can find the feature on the desktop app even if you have a free subscription.

Let us know if you have any questions.

I have premium family and the go to song/artist radio isn't showing up in the mobile app for ne

Hey @Ruben1104,

Thanks for reaching out!

Can you let us know where you're trying to access the radio option from? If you want to access an artist radio, you can do that from the artist's page by clicking on the three dots under their name. If you want to access a song radio, you should be able to do that from the three dot menu as well, but if you don't see this option do send us a screenshot and we can have a closer look at what's happening.

Keep us posted.

I used to be able to go to artist radio from Playlists. Now the option is
gone when I click on the 3 dots.

Hey @Ruben1104,

Thanks for the clarification!

It shouldn't be possible to go to a radio from a playlist overall, since the radio itself is a playlist and is only available through a song, album or artist. You can find more information here. So if you open a playlist, the option won't appear in the three dot menu of the playlist itself, but you should be able to access it form the three dots next to a song within the playlist.

Hope this clears things up.

This feature used to be there and then one day it disappeared.

Thanks for the reply @Ruben1104!

In that case you might be referring to the Playlist radio feature which was retired in March 2023. If that's what you meant, there's a live idea about bringing it back which you may find interesting, so feel free to check it out and show your support.

Apart from that, all other radios should still be available in the three dots menu, but if you don't see them on your end, please share a screenshot which captures how the menu looks on your end so we can investigate further.

We'll be on the lookout for your reply.
