How to stop Playlist View jumping to top of playlist with ANY movement of ipad

Hi -

Any movement of iPad or closing the cover and the playlist view jumps to the top of the list and loses my place.

Today, I rotated the iPad from vertical to on its side to prop up and it jumped to the top of the list I was currently playing. On my phone, the list always picks back up in the view where I was last listening.

I've been trying to clean up some playlists and my Liked songs (2nd year into finishing an optimistic New Year's resolution...) and this causes constant scrolling through lists to get back to where I was.

**Note the Now Playing resorts back to the last song, but then does not continue with the playlist after that song completes and then does its own thing, but alas that's for another day and would be fine if the list went back to the right spot.

I've already done a clean install twice following the Spotify article for the complete removal of the app also and iPad is current on all software updates, but still no joy.

Additional Details:

Plan - Premium

Country - US

Device & OS

(iPad Air 3rd gen w/ OS 16.5 and iPad 9th gen w/ OS 16.4.1)

Thank you!

Hey @Donkixote,

Thanks for reaching out and providing a detailed description of your issue.

We've forwarded this to the relevant team here at Spotify, however, we can't confirm when it will be addressed. In the meantime, please make sure to keep the app on both devices up-to-date.

Cheers,
