Show song on albums, show liked albums/songs rather than artist profile when you click on the artist

My Question or Issue

I recently switched to Spotify Premium and I am having some difficulties with the interface and compartments of the app. I am trying to "Like" a song and have it show up somewhere in my library that isn't the Liked Songs playlist, because I do not want to have a playlist of different songs that aren't by the same artist just so I can have the songs easily accessible. Is there a way to add ONE song from an album to the Albums tab without having the rest show up?

I am also having an issue with my Artists tab. I checked with another user and when they click on an artist they follow, Spotify shows them all of the songs/albums they have liked by that artist. In my case, Spotify shows me the artists profile, with the "Popular" songs feature. Basically the profile that shows up when you first search up an artist. How can I have just the songs that I have liked show up rather than the profile?
