I've written this Lyrics application to provide Lyrics to a bunch of music players, including Spotify. Spotify, Poweramp and other can also integrate with the application if they so choose. No floating lyrics required. Any feedback is welcome.

Just a note that I do pay the artists for use of their lyrics, which does force me to charge for the app after a two-week trial. Not quite sure if other apps support artists like mine does, but I wanted an alternative to Musixmatch.

Starting to regret moving from deezer to Spotify.. No lyrics and no local files on the mobile app.. At least deezer had the lyrics
