Deleting app has not cleared cache

Was running Spotify on iPhone 4S, IOS v5.0.1, and had a problem whereby songs would stop playing half-way through. I deleted the application in order to re-install it to try and alleviate the problem. Unfortunately, checking the usage on the iPhone General menu has revealed Spotify never deleted the data for all the offline playlists.

Is there anyway to force clear any data that may have been left by a previous version of Spotify?

Many thanks.

Hey there,

Reinstalling the application should also remove the cache as well. However, it's possible that iCloud has restored the previous cache for you.

In this case, I'd recommend turning Spotify off from syncing to your iCloud account. Pop over to the following menu - Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > Manage > The name of your device > "Show all apps" - Here, turn off Spotify in this list.

Now, try reinstalling the application. Hopefully it should put a totally clean version on your Phone.
