My Spotify keeps pausing every 30 seconds on the dot

My Question or Issue

Today my Spotify randomly started pausing every time I would play a song. So I tried to clear the cache, uninstall and redownload it, change my password, update my phone to the latest iOS and it still is pausing. I measured the time in between the pauses and it is 30 seconds of play time on the dot, every time. I’m not sure what the cause of the problem is or how to fix it.

nope.... not solved. ive tried all the above and it will randomly happen to my devices. it'll be working fine then for a day or a couple hours, or sometimes just 30 minutes it'll start doing this randomly. I have taken away all permissions for other apps, etc. i've tried updating, cache, uninstall/re-install, different devices, logging out of all devices, etc and it still will randomly decide to do this. Currently it has been doing this for about the last 6 hours. in my car, on my phone, at my house on my laptop, etc. this ish is annoying and makes me want to cancel service since it's been an ongoing issue for a long time.

My Spotify has been pausing every 30 seconds and it randomly started yesterday. I’m not sure what to do. I’ve tried every one of the suggested solutions.

Had that issue today and I solved it. Culprit was discord. I had my mic sensitivity set to the lowest setting so my mic was constantly picking audio up. Discord will pause your songs automatically if your mic has been transmitting for over 30 seconds. Just set your mic sensitivity higher/turn in the auto sensitivity settig and you should be good. If it doesnt work and there's a different culprit, god help you.
