Naim Uniti Nova no longer appears on Spotify Connect

Naim Uniti Nova no longer appears on Spotify Connect

I no longer can see Naim Uniti Nova Streamer in the device list for Spotify Connect. It does not appear as Airplay/Commcast device either. I have re-installed Spotify App, Logged off all devices and logged back in. Restarted the Uniti Nova, Router etc. Non helped.

 

I can still see my Mu-So Qb2 though..

 

Anyone having the same issue?

Thanks for the post.

 

I'd recommend doing a factory reset on the speaker. After that check the manufacturer's website for any firmware updates for that particular model.

 

Since the Spotify app for third party smart speakers/ amplifiers is developed by the manufacturer using the Spotify API and not directly by Spotify, we can't guarantee that the connection will always work. This is because the manufacturer can discontinue support for the Spotify service or release a firmware update which hinders the performance of our service.

 

It's best to also reach out to the support team from Naim about this, as they might be able to give you more accurate info on why this might be happening.
