Spotify restarts every time I open the app.

Spotify restarts every time I switch to the app, and it always takes about a minute+ to do so. I can see the app running in the background when I double tap the button on the iPhone, but it still restarts. On the contrary, If I play music and switch to something else, it works normally. It's also pretty slow to use. On my old HTC phone the app worked flawlessly fast.

I have an iPhone 4s

Ia there a solution? Do you have an olderspotify version that requires less cpu?

The older iPhone 4S has a low amount of RAM (memory) compared to the newer iPhones. It could be a problem that when you are using other apps, Spotify loses it's place in the memory to make room for the other apps and when you switch back to it, it has to reload.

Unfortunately, Spotify doesn't have a separate app for older devices.
