Stereo Problems

Spotify used to work amazingly on my car stereo (Sony) however - ever since they added the album covers update to spotify, whenever I press the next track button from my car stereo the itunes library takes over and kicks spotify off - the only way for me to skip a track while in my car is to physically pick up my phone, unlock it (double tapping home does not bring up the option to skip or pause the track anymore), open up spotify and skip the track in there.. in any other circumstance this is livable.. however while driving this really is a pain in the ass! Personally I'd rather not see the album art on the homepage and be able to use the car stereo to skip tracks, as I used to be able to.
