I am paying for a premium account. I have been listening on an iPhone 6. I just purchased an iPhone 7 and downloaded Spotify. I signed in and I am being asked to sign up for a premium account (which I have) and none of my playlists are there. What gives?

Could you have signed in with Facebook on the original phone? Also, I know some contracts get spotify premium as part of thier package could that have changed?

Yeah you're right, it's all linked to your username, one more thing to check then, click here to go to your account page and you'll be able to double check the status of your account, it'll also give the username and email address you used.
I know there can be issues with googlemail.com and gmail.com if you use one or the other.
If the situation is still the same after you've double checked everything let me know.
