Hey guys,
first of all, thanks for finally starting your service in Germany -- you're doing a great job 🙂
I know that my answer is kind of answered in https://www.spotify.com/help/faq/ipod-integration/can-i-sync-my-streaming-music-from-spotify-to-my-i...
But still I'm wondering why this is the case. As far as I can think of, syncing any music of your catalogue with the ipod shoudn't be a big problem from a technical point of view, since
- syncing local mp3 files with my ipod via spotify works fine,
- the ipod is a closed system, so any kind of "mp3-extraction" shouldn't be possible at all and
- conversion from ogg vorbis to mp3 is no big deal at all.
So the only reason I can think of is some weird license issue with the content distributors. But even then I don't see any difference between using my ipod or using any other mobile device in offline mode?
Best regards
Alex
