downloading local files to i-phone

I never received a reply to previous question, so I thought I'd try again...

I burned the  Squirrel Nut Zippers Hot onto my computer, it is synced to Spotify, but I can only play it on my computer.  I have synced my phone with Spotify on my computer, well I think I did because it really didn't look like it was doing anything.  I just read a post that Local Files cannot be saved on iphones in the U.S.  So really there is no solution?

Should work, put the tracks in a playlist on your desktop then offline mode that playlist on the mobile app is what I normally do.

Nope, everything is already offline, yet still nothing plays on my phone  😞
