Card Declined

Is Spotify having card processing issues? My card number was compromised so it has been closed and a new number issued. This new number is working for all my other subscriptions, but Spotify keeps rejecting it. It's the same card as before, just a new number.

Thanks for reaching out. In this case, I'd recommend you try following the steps in this Support article to see if that does the trick.

Thanks for the reply Jose. I've already tried everything in the article except a different payment method.

Thanks for letting us know!
In this situation, I'd recommend waiting out 24 hours until trying again in case the system is preventing you from making this transaction. In the meantime though, if it's possible for you, you could also try using a different payment method to see if that would make a difference and you could reach out to your bank to verify with them if your new card can be used for Spotify-related payments.

I reached out to support via email and after a long back and forth they apparently found something on their end and fixed the issue.
