MAJOR billing issue as of May 8th, 2014 - Emergency, please advise staff

Hello, my Name is Spencer...

 

I am always charged to my ank of America account on the 1st of every month (at the very LATEST the 3rd) - I plan accordingly with my financials. Unfortunately, I was charged  - for the FIRST TIME EVER - on the 7th of his month. I was not prepared for said charge, and am now in teh red in my checking account by ~$9. For every day I do not fix this, I am charged a $30 per DAY penalty. I submitted a Contact Form - reference #: 01442321. This is a dire emergency as there is the possibility of me going into debt of up tpo $300.

 

Can someone PLEASE advise/help/anything here - I am beside myself.

 

Huge fan of Spotify, long-time Premium Member, but I need help with this ASAP.

Hello?

 

Spotify NEEDS an actual phone number to handle these types of problems. We pay a premium, but in matters like this, are left alone - without answers or solutions...

To speed things along, reply to the automated email reply and someone will get back to you as soon as they can. The CS guys normally reply to all cases within 24 hours.

Unfortunately, there isn't really anything that can be done to speed things along apart from that.

Just wondering what date does it say it should have been renewed on your online account?

@trubenefit -- one of my colleagues sent a reply to your case a little while ago. If you send a reply back to that email they'll continue helping out with this and get things sorted out.

Ok, now I received an email from from support@spotify - that seemingly ignored my problem/issue,

 

 

HEY SPOTIFY - this is not Customer Service. At All.

 

 

Please someone who is in a position to help (Spotify) answer here, or reply to this email thread,

This is ridiculous, IMO - is there a phone number to call? For the love of God....just a phone # guys.....

I really wish you'd stop being so melodramatic on this forum, Spencer. All your posts have the same derogatory and holier-than-thou tone.

 

It's not Spotify's fault that you spent more money than you earnt. You could easily see that you hadn't yet had your Spotify payment taken, but decided to spend the $9.99 anyway, knowing full well that it was going to be charged at some point. Labelling your personal financial failures as "URGENT" and crying to everybody how much debt you're going to be in is not going to get you help any faster. Your level of expectation is incredibly high for a service that provides a vast amount of music for incredibly little money. To that end, you appear to think that you are rather entitled.

 

Instead, perhaps take some responsibility for your own life and mistakes.

 

Simple solution: put $9 into your "checking account".

 

What's that? You can't afford it? You have no money at all, already, by the 7th of the month? Good grief, man, get off the internet and cancel your ISP subscription so that you can instead afford to buy food for the next three weeks, perhaps.
