Account Hacked and No longer exists

I initially set up under the email [snip - email - mod]. I have emailed spotify a week ago with no reply. I should still be paying for service but my user name no longer seems to exist so I am thinking someone has changed it

It is not possible to change usernames on Spotify, however, it is possible to change the email address associated with your account so maybe that is why you never received a response from customer services. 

Try using this contact form which will allow you to specify the return address. Remember if you get an automated email reply directing you to the community or help pages to reply directly to it and a member of the team will get back to you, normally within 48 hours.
