Account problems

Having a problem where me and my father has separate accounts, but when he tries to play music from his account, mine is getting interrupted. How is that possible? Had to put mine in offline-mode for him to play music from his account. He is logged in with his own account and me with mine. We have a family-subscription. Any solutions?

Hey @Eksosdude, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

Let's see if you guys aren't logged into the same account by mistake. On your device, and his device if possible, can you both check if the username is the same or not? You can check this by going to Settings in the Spotify app  (gear icon) > Account > Username.

 

If it's the same username, that means that you two are on the same account. If it is not, let me know and I'll see what else to suggest.
