Account won't move past an ad on web browser

Account won't move past an ad on web browser

My account is stuck on a Home Depot ad and won't move past it.  I have no option to click "play" on the ad.  It sits at 0:00 of 0:30.  I can use the progress bar to move it back and forth, but nothing happens.  Clicking on a new song or playlist adds it to the left hand side of "recently played" but nothing plays.  I can use my account on mobile with no issue.  I restarted my browser; I've restarted my computer; I've logged in and back out; I've cleared my data/cookies.

I logged into my fiance's account on the same browser window and could play music without an issue.  When I logged back into my account after using hers, I still cannot bypass the Home Depot ad.

What can fix this?

Hey @sed7, help's here.

Let's try some troubleshooting. First, open the Web Player in an incognito window or different browser.

It's also a good idea to enable full functionality on the site settings. Check the settings of your browser to make sure everything looks alright and enabled, and nothing is blocked.

Also make sure that your browser is up-to-date, and reinstall the browser if necessary, but keep in mind that you may lose some data.

Make sure to check out any firewall settings so that Spotify is allowed as well.

Lastly, try switching network connections and see if that helps. Restart the router as well.

Let us know how it goes.
