Advertisement Making It Impossible For Me To Listen To My Music

Advertisement Making It Impossible For Me To Listen To My Music

I was listening to my music on Spotify Web Player and after the song finished suddenly an ad popped up and wouldn't go away I have an ad blocker, so normally I don't have to deal with ads. It played for 30 seconds, and instead of going on to the next song it stayed there in place of the title of the song and it's been twenty-four hours since this happened and it still won't go away which is making it impossible for me to listen to music.

I tried restarting my computer, I tried logging out of my account, I tried turning off my ad blocker, etc. but nothing is working. When I try to play a song it shows up in my recently played but nothing plays and nothing shows up in the place where the title of the currently playing song goes.

What can I do to fix this so that I can listen to my music again?

Attached is a photo of what my spotify player looks like right now.

Maybe try clicking on the ad, it may bring you to the playlist you clicked on in the ad and then allow you to use Spotify again.

I really appreciate the suggestion. I tried it, but all it did was open the exact same page I was on in a new tab and didn't change anything. Is there anything else you think would work?

You could try pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete all at the same time, a small window will open where you can close Spotify. I hope that works, otherwise the only other thing I can think of is using spotify.com and signing out everywhere or deleting Spotify itself.
