Can't change facebook user on Spotify

Hello!
Just this week I noticed that my Spotify account had been linked from my facebook to my brothers facebook (we share the same account, sorry guys) without any warning. Is there a way to change this? I did not sign up via facebook and I've also tried disconnecting from facebook followed by linking my account to Spotify. But NOTHING happens. My brothers name is still showing and I don't have access to any of my own friends.

Hi 🙂

In the preferences section of Spotify, there should be a button that allows you to 'Disconnect from Facebook'. Click it, and then click it again to connect to yours (logout of FB everywhere).

Spotify should show your name and FB profile picture within 48 hours 🙂

Also be aware that certain changes especially regarding names on profiles can take up to 24 hours to update since those changes need to happen server side. If you have disconnect and reconnected to your own account (or just disconnected) it should correct itself within 24 hours.

Unfortunately not, Spotify accounts can only be linked to personal Facebook profiles.
