Can't connect existing account to Facebook

Hi!

My issue at the moment is exactly as the title states; I also know the cause.

I have a Spotify account that's not connected to Facebook, but way back when I also logged into Spotify using my Facebook account.

Now, when I try to connect my non-Facebook account to my Facebook account, it says there's been a temporary error and I should try again later.

So I think the issue is that I'm trying to merge two accounts; any suggestions on how I could fix this?

Hi @Panic_!

Since you already have a Facebook-created account, you'll need to close it first in order to connect your Facebook profile to your current Spotify account. 

No worries, you can close the Facebook-created account by following these steps.
