Can't log in to my account

Can't log in to my account

Hi I am a Deezer user & I want to try Spotify with the 99p 3 month offer. I went to create an account but I couldn't, I get locked into a loop. It seems I must have created an account a long time ago but it wont let me reset the password or log in with face book. I have had to create this account with a work email address that I don't want to use. Incredibly frustrating to be stuck in a loop you can't get out of and even get help.

Why's it not letting you reset the password on https://www.spotify.com/password-reset/? Are you seeing any error messages?

When I try to reset the password I get the message 'It looks like you are using Facebook credentials to log in to Spotify. To change your Facebook passord go to your settings page at facebook.com'

 

My facebook user/paswoord dorsn't work to log in to Spotify. If I try the 'log in with Facebook' I get the message 'You do not have a Spotifty account connected to your Facebook account. If you have a Spotify account, please log in with your Spotify credentials. If you do not have a Spotift account, sighn up'.

 

If I try to create a new account with my password it tells me that an account allready exits.

When I try a password reset, this is the message I get:

At this stage, we'd recommend getting in contact with us directly via email, or by tweeting our support handle. We'll be able to help you out further and take a look under the hood.

 

We should be able to find and close this old Facebook-created account and move any playlists, saved music, and followers over to a new account with the email address of your choice, to avoid confusion.
