Can't login on iPhone

I cannot log in on my iPhone. I have tried all of the suggestions in the "help" center but nothing works. I tried logging in with user name as well as email address and keep getting the error message "Login Failed Unable to login, either username or password is incorrect. Have you signed up for a Spotify account?" I also changed my password, deleted and reinstalled the app but still can't login. Help please

Addendum: I can't login in on my laptop either.  I get the same error message.  I'm 100% certain that I am using the correct username / password.
