Can we convert my kids' individual Spotify plans into one family plan?

Can we convert my kids' individual Spotify plans into one family plan?

Both my kids have Spotify accounts. If we buy a family plan, can they keep using their individual accounts while we all benefit from the family plan instead of each paying separately? Thank you for your help.

Hey @Kevin1121

Yes, check their profile on the website to see if they're still Premium. If their profile says they still are, cancel it, and delete their payment info.

Once canceled, they'll still be on Premium for the remainder of the month you've paid for, and after that it will revert back to Free. They won't lose any playlists, friends, or their music library, as long as they keep using the same username they've been using. Those are independent from your subscription status.

The next step is for them to join your Family plan through your account (You're the one who pays, so you'll be the Family Admin).

Send by yourself the link generated through INVITE WITH LINK, instead of letting the system send the mail.

Let them accept the invite logged in with their own username in the app and in the website. They should make sure to type the address exactly as the Admin did when he created the Family Plan, and also be sure all Family members use the same Internet connection (Home network) regularly.

Each will be able to listen to music at the same time, and will have separate libraries, playlists and friends.

Hope it helps. 🙂
