@Onepoint21 - Have you had a subscription based elsewhere previously?

I have the exact same problem! Switched from CAD to EUR even though I am using a Canadian credit card that has a Canadian billing address etc. It also switched my 'free 30 day premium trial' to only 7 days, so I start being billed 9.99 EUR + tax in a week. Really, really unimpressed so far with the expansion to Canada.
Same problem here. When I signed up for a 30 day free trial, I was only given 7 days. To make matters worse, despite having a Canadian account, my subscription details reflect that I will be billed in EUR instead of CAD. Very frustrating!
Not for me.... still showing 7 days instead of 30 and euros instead of CAD. (even a couple days after I got an email saying I surely wouldn't be billed in Euro...) Unimpressive!

Thanks Peter, that is what I have been told; however no explanation as to why my account still shows that I will be billed 9.99 EUR instead of the price in CAD.
Not solved for me...
I clicked on the 30 days trial offer yesterday night and it says that it will end today... and that I will be charged 9.99 Euros instead of 9.99 CAD$.
So only 1 day trial and charged in Euros.
Not happy. 😞
@AnnieCom - Is it possible you signed up for the 7 day free trial too by logging in on a mobile device when you where on Spotify Free?
If you do get billed fully tomorrow, it shouldn't be an issue to get it refunded however you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form.
If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you so much for your answer @Peter. 🙂
Yes, I was on the 7 days trial I've got with my mobile and it was supposed to expire yesterday.
So then I wanted to continue on the Premium trial version offered for 30 days more on my account page.
I've got an error message first, so I tried again and then got the message that my subscription will renewed
on 2014-09-30 and that I will be charged 9.99 Euros instead of 9.99 Canadian dollars.
I will contact the customer service directly today... Just don't want to be charged in Euros and get extra fees
on my credit card. Hope they have french support, it would be easyer for me if it gets too technical. 🙂

I've just had confirmation from Spotify that this is just a display issue caused by the 7 day free trial running. Once that 7 day free trial expires and you either move onto the 30 day free trial or regular premium the price will correct itself and you will be billed in Canadian $'s.
