Cancelling Subscription - 'Something went wrong'

I tried to cancel my subscription twice and instead I kept getting an error message that something went wrong. Now I've been charged. I still want to cancel — and I'm gonna need a refund as well for the new charge!

Hey there @alexahubley, welcome to the community!

 

That doesn't sound good. Can you try canceling again after you've cleared the cache and cookies memories in your browser? Another step would be to cancel in an incognito window or a different browser altogether.

 

As for a refund, you can check out Spotify's policy here.

Thank you! For the refund: the charge for this month should never have gone through, but did only because of the app error message (I tried cancelling twice before the renewal and got the error message). So I'll need it refunded. The link you sent doesn't answer that question.
