Cannot cancel subscription!

Cannot cancel subscription!

I've been trying to cancel my subscription for a few weeks now but cannot find anywhere to do this or even a way to contact someone at Spotify about this issue.

 

When I follow the instructions on the help page:

 

Go to the Subscription page.
Under Cancel your subscription, click View your options.
Select a reason (select Other reasons if you're canceling for a promotion). Click CONTINUE.
Click CANCEL MY SUBSCRIPTION.
Enter your password in the password field. Click CANCEL SPOTIFY PREMIUM SUBSCRIPTION.

 

There is NO option "Cancel your subscription". There is simply a "Payment" and a "Subscription" section. The payment section has an "update details" button, but everytime I click on it, it brings me back to that same page. The subscription section just tells me when my subscription will be renewed and the cost, no other clickable options.

 

Please help!!

I'm having the same issue and it's really pissing me off!

and fill out the contact form. If you get an automated response directing you back to the community boards reply back to that email, even if it is from a noreply and a customer support rep will get with you shortly. A CS team member can assist you in this for both of you. Thank you.

I've ALREADY filled out that form. I got no response. I've been trying to cancel this subscription for a week. This is absolutely f*****g ridiculous. You all provide no customer support, no way for me to cancel the subscription, and no way for me to contact you. Try this on for size-if I get charged tomorrow for a re-subscription to spotify premium, I will sue. In fact I have lawyers on the phone right now. You all can't treat people this way and expect to get away with it.  Fix it now.

I have escalated both your case#'s but please be aware this is the holiday season and this is also the weekend as well so there could be some delays, but the board staff should be rather up on these things here, the ones working through at least. So hang loose and someone should get back to this in 24 to 48 hours. Merry Xmas.

I am having the same dam problem! And my case number is 02196874

I'm trying to cancel my Premium account before getting charged on the 28th, however the cancel button is not available on my account page but it clearly state that I will be charged on the 28th of December and on my phone application it says I'm a Premium user. 

 

I'm seeing that other people are facing the same issue, and STILL didn't get any reply or help after a week! If I do get charged I want a refund, I know it's holiday season, but this is just unacceptable, people should be able to cancel their account whevener they want to just as you just mentionned on your website!

I got the same problem and i tried it a view times but still dont got the email from them

I have the same problem.

I just bought my nephew the premium account for a present and paid using my iphone which cost 12.99, £3 more then normal. Then I realised I could get a family plan. So I wanted to cancel the plan and get that. I have been trying to cancel since I upgraded his plan on saturday and I get the same problem. No options to cancel at all. I have tried on chrome safari and firefox and still no options. How do I solve it as I dont want to be charged £12.99 again

I can see my colleagues have sent you an email both yesterday and today with no response to either - could you please confirm you have received them? Be sure to check your junk folder. 

 

The reason you're unable to cancel through our form is because you're paying through Apple - please reach out to them if you'd like to cancel. Let us know if we can help with anything else.

You're paying through Apple, so you'll need to contact them if you'd like the subscription cancelled.

Which account did you purchase Premium for your nephew on, @harrysona?

 

If you could let me know the username either here or via PM I'll check things out for you - it sounds as though you upgraded through Apple (if this is the case, you'll need to contact them to cancel the sub).

I wanted to just switch to the student discount one but same exact issue as above.

I'm having the same problem, my phone company provided me with a free spotify premium. To activate it I have to cancel my current subscription, but the button as mentioned below is not available! Please help!
