Cannot get premium on phone after subscribing on desktop

Hi! I purchased Spotify premium on my desktop (because I could not see a way to buy it on my phone). But now I still am not able to get it on my phone. i have logged in and logged out multiple times, all using my Spotify password (as opposed to facebook login). Any advice? I really only plan on using it on my phone and not my desktop computer, so... I need it.
