Change username

Hello, i want to change my username as i just tried to register my account but got message that my email was already in use, so i restored the password because i thought forgot the account information, but it just someone used my email to sign up.

Does spotify send a confirmation email? If it does, then i can´t explain how this person used my email to sign up.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community. Can I get a confirmation that you have already signed up for an account for Spotify and just want to try to change your username?

If so, please know that you can not change your Spotify Username on your computer or desktop, but you can change it with a mobile device just go to this link and follow the steps > edit profile > change username > change whatever username you want > last make sure you click submit to finish it. You should have your username changed now.

If not, I would suggest you look at Spotify's About Page. This will lead you to there contact information page where you can list the issues you have.
