Changed Accounts

So I recently deleted my old facebook to create a new one with people that I only knew on it.

My spotify was linked to my old account and I had no way of unlinking it, so I unsubscribed from it so that I could create a new solo account that was in no way linked with facebook.

My subscription was Spotify Premium with the NUS extra discount HOWEVER the discount had not been used yet as no payments had been taken since activating.

When I then tried to add my NUS discount to my new account, it did not allow me to as it had "already been used", even though I had not recieved a discount from my payments yet.

Is there anyway that I can somehow get another discount, considering this one hasn't been used yet AND the subscription has been terminated? If needed, I can prove ownership of both accounts.

@PeterJNSims - Your NUS card number will still be tied to your old account even if the subscription has been cancelled. Shouldn't be any issue in getting it swapped over if you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
