Just to confirm, have you registered for Spotify premium using paypal? What does your subscription say on your account overview?

I've got same problem. Any ideas how to activate 60 days trial? Every time I log in with my username and password it shows my old account (free with ads). Do I have to make new account?

Applied for the 60-day PayPal offer trial and only got 30 days according to account info. My wife got 60. 😞

Wha'ts wrong?

@robert-san - Something isn't quite right there obviously, the PayPal links from emails seem to be personalised, did you use the same link to upgrade both accounts? If you could get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they can look into this a little closer for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

@starzo - If you have already set up a trial, don't setup another as you will probably end up with two subscriptions (and therefore two bills). When you setup the trial, you should have got an email to confirm. What username is shown in the email?

She got her own mail so we have not used the same link. Message is sent to CS. TNX!

Yes, I have got email receipt to confirm trial period. Username/ID shown in the email is 1193377993. This is totally different than my current id. There is not any link in the email to activate the 60 days trial.

That username is a Facebook created account, have you tried logging in using your Facebook details?

OK, it seems to work now. Maybe someone could add a reference of this facebook-connection to the email receipt. It would reduce the uncertainty about the issue a lot.

But anyway, thank you for your help.

Have an account, still it says spotify free. Have not used it for anything but the free version before this.

@Frokind7 - Do you have a confirmation email from Spotify to say your subscription has been set up?
