My Question or Issue
I moved to Spain from the UK six weeks ago. I took my Spotify Free account with me. I have an Amazon Echo Dot and wish to run my Spotify through it. However I understand this has to be Premium so I signed up today but the Echo won’t play Spotify as I hadn’t updated my address on Spotify from UK to Spain. Reading from the Spotify website I’ve cancelled my Premium account (only set up today, of course) so that I can edit my profile to show Spain as my home country. However it seems to say I have to wait until August 20th before the account reverts to Free and in can update my profile. This is a long time to wait. Have I done something wrong and how can I go about correcting it now. Thanks in advance.
